Finally, the TB I had been meaning to get done, for my HARPG stables.

So, no, I didn't suddenly quit HARPG or anything.. I've just been busy. But, with the holidays, I should be able to fit in a few drawings here and there. :)

Well, then, say hello to Bullet, the new up-and-rising star of the racetrack. :D The image is supposed to depict him when he's much older (he's now supposed to be a two-year-old starting to race, which I'll be drawing him as, soon), probably in his early 20's (or 16+, at least) and standing at stud at DDS. Hence, why he's all long-haired, untrimmed, nice and filled out. x)
So, what do you guys think of him? Is he hawt or what? :3

----------

:bulletblue: Registered Name: DD Bite The Bullet
Barn Name: Bullet
Gender: Stallion
D.O.B.: January 5th
Breed: Thoroughbred
Bloodline: Purebred; unknown
Phenotype: Bay. A bright, bold bay, of a sort of deep coppery hue. He also boasts four uneven socks, a snip, and a large, dipping star. There are a few ermine spots along both his right feet, too.
Eyes: Roasted chestnut color with flecks of a paler, honey-like tone
Genotype: Aa / Ee
Height: A hair under 17.0hh
Build: In his youth, compared to most other colts his age, he was surprisingly bigger and a bit taller. Now that he has matured and is filled out, it has become even more clear that he is definitely built like a powerful, old-style Thoroughbred, rather than the thin, new-age ones. He is rather massive, yet does not drag excess weight or seem fat at all. He's full of bulging, glistening muscles, from head to hoof. His topline is elegant, yet he bears a big and nicely arched neck, leading to a finely chiseled, handsome head. He has high withers, a deep chest, a relatively short back, intelligent, curious and expressive eyes, a very lean body, and impeccable, hard hooves. His legs and hindquarters are large, deep, and strong.
Breeder: N/A
Owner/trainer: *Hazel-rah of Double Dance.
Temperament: In his younger days especially, he was rather unpredictable, highly competitive and rambunctious. He bears the true, characteristic nature of the Thoroughbred racehorse, in the sense that he's hot-headed, as well as hot-blooded (in both senses of the word.) He was impatient, unruly, spooked easily, was a menace to society most of the time, and was extremely difficult to handle. Had little respect for his handlers, work-out riders, jockey, groom, etc. and most people would agree that he had "a major attitude problem." Didn't always use his brain, and could be found pulling some stupid stunts. Also had a nipping issue, rearing problem, could never slow down fast enough, and had tendencies to buck when going to the track. It roughly took a minimum of four people to tack him up, and he had even broken a handler's leg, once, when having his girth tightened. Although, now that he has grown into a respectable stallion, he has learned many crucial ground manners, and isn't as keen to play the "foolish colt" game anymore. He still frequently will tease and toy with his handlers or nip playfully at passerby's, but he doesn't spook or do things out of malice intentions, so much as he used to.
History: Born in Kentucky, he was raised until he was a weanling by a world-renown breeding & racing farm. His lineage, though rather obscure and not very documented, apparently bears godly racing legends of the past and more present eras. He began his training young, like all racehorses, but not as young as the majority. We in fact only started his racing campaign seriously at the age of three. Before then, he was often lunged, put on walkers, and slowly eased up into more intense training sessions. In breezes and work-outs, he seemed to be "the one", with his amazing gusto for running, as well as his bold attitude, incredible speed and the fact he never seemed to break a sweat. His riders must always be in full control of the situation, or else he'd bolt at an all-out, uncontrolled gallop, and it became near impossible to halt him. In fact, when working out, he was often placed at the head of the others, because if he saw another horse even nearing him from behind, he went into overdrive and would not give in (which was also why he had blinkers, often.) Over the years, he has had an incredibly successful racing campaign, having been able to race across the globe. His main accomplishments are the following: Won his mainden race, came in second in Gotham Stakes, won Wood Memorial, then Kentucky Derby. Preakness lost by a whisker and disqualified from Belmont. Then, Haskell Invitational, Woodward Stakes, Jockey Club Gold Cup, and Breeders Cup Classic, barely by a nose. As a 4-y.o., he entered in the Dubai World Cup but wound up last, due to a bowed tendon that ended his racing career.
A few other important awards he won were the Annual HARPG race in 2008, and the greatest honor of all, the 2008 Champion Stallion award.
Discipline(s): Track (flat) racing
Ideal Distance/Turf/Running Position: 8-9f/dirt/versatile

He passed away in 2010 unfortunately.

Thanks for the interest, though. :) He has countless foals, grandfoals and great-grandfoals that you could breed your mare too, however, if you still want to incorporate Bullet into your racing bloodline.

I will definitely try to breed soon. I need more gorgeous, amazing foalies in my barn.

I freaked out because I was certain that one of my in-training TBs was a descendent but he's not. The one who designed him has a few that trace back. I did trace Tango back to Sumerian though. :dummy:
