Description

I forgot to upload this gal. :XD: Oh well, here she is! Don't mind the WTF background, I had some technical difficulties and just decided to eff it lol.

She has so many color modifers, I didn't even know where to start with her coat palette!

Registered Name: SSS Geirskögul
Barn Name: Gert; Gerty; F*cking Crazy Mofo
Gender: Mare

Age: 8 years old
Breed: Knabstrupper (KNN)

Type: Sport
Bloodlines: SSS Heoroweard x BK Sign of Ambition (s. Fire Sign)

Phenotype: Brownskin dun (or seal brown dunskin) roan snowcap
Eyes: Pale amber
Genotype: EE/Ata/Cr/Rn/Dn/LPLP/PATN2

Height: 15.3hh
Build: Not unlike her sire, she’s all legs. She’s an elegant, feminine, smallish mare, with fine muscles and a streamlined body. Almost seems more akin to a Thoroughbred than a warmblood., except with much more power.
Breeder: CAN

Owner: Casper Hansen of Six Star Stables, DEN
Temperament: A firecracker, she’s pretty unpredictable and difficult to keep a hold of. As such, getting her in the showring has been an impossibility for the most part. She gets so wound up and nervous when in a different environment that she sort of loses her head and can only be described as a loose cannon. We suspect this is from traumatic training, intense competing, being cooped inside her whole life, and aggressive handling as a youth. We’re working hard to rid her of her vices, but because of her unstable mindset, we advise only breeding her to very well-mannered, calm stallions.

Bio: Born in Canada (perhaps via embryo transfer; not certain on details), she was put up in training with a professional trainer after she was broken in to ride because of her athleticism and nice gaits/conformation. However, she was pressured too much as a younghorse, and she suffered permanently from it. Her show record includes modest success in younghorse classes as a 4 and 5-year-old, but then her scores started rapidly plummeting thereafter, when we assume she started getting mentally fried by the intensity and pressure of the escalating training. We also later discovered that she once got violently t-boned by a runaway horse in a warm-up arena, so she also has terrible traffic issues when around other horses. She was tossed around and sold a few times over before we managed to get our mitts on her, primarily just to get her in our care and out of the sketchy sales barns she was stabled at in Florida. Eversince then, we’ve been striving to get her more confident both undersaddle and on the ground, with little success. Casper has shown her a couple of times at what she loves best, Puissance, which she excels at in the right conditions. Her scores are still scattered because some days she’ll be able to keep it together through a whole round, but other days, she can barely make it around the ring without bolting off into the treeline. Which is also the reason why she only does Puissance classes and not proper Show Jumping. Getting her over a couple of jumps in a contained space is one thing, but a full course of 12+ obstacles is way too much for her to mentally handle.
Tack: Usually ridden with a gold-piped black ear bonnet with ear plugs for her not to get distracted by outside noises or flies. She typically sports sheepskin-lined brown leather open-front boots with gold buckles on all fours, a breatcollar with brass accents, fuzz-lined brown fore bellboots (she tends to pull shoes often with all of her crazy antics), a gold-trimmed black saddle pad and sheepskin fleece halfpad. Her saddle is a French custom-made dark brown calfskin jump saddle with gold accents, just like her mechanical hackamore bridle (she has issues with bits.) Her girth is a fleece-lined brown leather Marjoman girth with belly guard.
Discipline(s): Show Jumping (Puissance)

Brand: Knabstrupper "K" on left hip; elk horns logo around an "A" on the left shoulder

Offspring: N/A

Restrictions: Must be bred to realistic colored stallions please (mild-tempered only.)
Availability: Currently available for breeding (contact Hazel-rah.)

Sport Stats:
:bulletblack: Walk: :star-half: :star-empty: :star-empty: :star-empty: :star-empty:
The walk is totally lateral and has no reach because she’s so tense.

:bulletblack: Trot: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star-empty:
The trot is beautifully cadenced, engaged and uphill.

:bulletblack: Canter: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star-empty:
The canter is nicely articulate, forward and fluid.

:bulletblack: Jump: :star: :star: :star::star::star:
The jump has limitless scope, tidiness and form even though she's a shrimper

:bulletblack: Collection: :star: :star: :star-empty: :star-empty: :star-empty:
The collection is there, but definitely not a highlight because she easily gets in a tizz.

:bulletblack: Level: :star::star-half::star-empty::star-empty::star-empty:
Mostly local events with fluctuating success
